Dance and Movement Workshop

Escape to the islands and pamper yourself while enjoying beautiful Jamaica.  In early May come along to Oracabessa, Jamaica, where we will relax and rejuvenate our bodies and minds.  This trip will be a 7 day trip that focuses on you.  We’ll do Dance, Yoga and Meditation. We will have a class every morning on the beach to welcome the day.  There will be meditation, yoga and life coaching sessions, and massage throughout the entire trip. We will also take time to explore the island of Jamaica, the culture, the beaches and the food!

Your accommodations will be at Nix Nax Bed & Breakfast, a simple island getaway.  The owners’ and creators, Domenica Higgins, an American born gypsy medicine woman, and Dicky Higgins, a Jamaican born progressive dread, have built this oasis with amazing creativity, hard work and charm.  The architecture is a mix of Spanish archways and verandas and Dicky’s artistic personal style.  There are inspiring quotes and art on the walls both inside and out.  The first floor of the home houses a preschool for the local children that Domenica founded with her Montessori training and her own free-thinking philosophy.  The accommodations are warm, comfortable and clean and everyone is welcomed as if they were family!
